Anonymous asked: If you don't use roids, what supplements do you use?

-.- Your information is obviously skewed, and your point of view is coming off as ignorant. The internet is a vast resource in which you can find out about Dieting, Training, and Supplementation.

Not every person who’s achieved a good level of fitness has to use ‘roids’

I’m tired of the ignorance.

All natural.

Anonymous asked: Did you learn your workouts from a personal trainer or from researching and observing in the gym?

REserching, mostly. The internet has a vast store of information when it comes to proper training and nutrition.

Anonymous asked: Do you find it better to work out alone or with a partner? If you work out alone, how do you find motivation?

I work out alone usually. But on days I really want to amp up the intensity I’ll call up one of my friends to help me out. Especially on chest days or shoulders whenever you need help pushing the weight up initially.

To find motivation well… I’m not THE best person to talk with when it comes to finding motivation. I find motivation by just looking towards my set goals and how happy I’ll be when I achieve them.

Anonymous asked: Here's the thing. I have never worked out a day in my life, but I have an average body. The one thing that really restrains me from going to the gym is feeling insecure about my body compared to everyone else who's there. Any suggestions for us newbies going to the gym in this situation?

Don’t be. Going to the gym is about you, and you only. Focus on what you’re doing rather than the guy next to you.

Anonymous asked: Hello, I wanted to ask: I'm a fairly thin guy (size 30 in jeans) but I want to put some muscle weight (mainly in arms and chest). Well my question is , do you find cardio (as in running only) necessary/tremendously helpful for what I'm trying to accomplish?

It is necessary to keep your metabolism going, cardio definitely helps with that. When your metabolism is high, you’ll be able to take in food much easier than you would without cardio. Food is one of the biggest essentials in weightlifting/mass building.

dangdarling asked: which is better: eating before, or after your workout? and how much before/after your workout?

Both! Eat about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before working out to enhance your training experience. (The meal should consist of mostly carbs and a protein source about as big as your fist)

Post workout nutrition is key to gaining muscle; the 15-30 minutes after working out is when your body will absorb the most nutrients and calories, a protein shake should do the trick on that one.
